The City of Regina hosted an art contest for designs to paint on their power boxes around town. I submitted two designs for those. The first was a more abstract piece. Cogs and gears with other similar images. The second was a more subject-focused design. Earlier, I was messing around with an octopus scribble that I ended up really liking, so I made an entry with the same idea. 

The more vertical piece was for the second type of design you could enter. A design for alley doors. For my design, I wanted to go with something a little more representative of Regina, so I made a design with the Western Red Lily as the subject since that is the provincial flower of Saskatchewan.
